A severe thunderstorm watch was in effect until 11 a.m. for portions of northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana, according to the National Weather Service. Several flights in and out of Chicago’s airports were delayed or cancelled due to the weather. At one point Tuesday a ground stop was order at O’Hare International Airport due to storms.

Naperville man charged in alleged sexual assault at DuPage County Crisis Center
A Naperville man charged with sexually assaulting a woman at the DuPage County Crisis Center is being held in the county jail, authorities said. Lonny Bracey, 34, is accused of attacking the woman in a bedroom at the 12-bed residential center in Wheaton, according to a news release from the Wheaton Police Department. The incident occurred just before 11:30 p.m. June 19, the release said.

WHEATON, Ill. — A man has been charged after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman who was staying at the DuPage County Crisis Center. Wheaton police was dispatched to the center, located in the 100 block of North County Farm Road, just after 11:25 p.m. on Wednesday. The crisis residential center is a 12-bed unit providing short-term crisis services to DuPage County residents.
