Naperville to be part of Olmec colossal head sculpture exhibit in DuPage celebrating Latin American culture
This summer and fall, Naperville is shining a spotlight on Latin American culture. And at the crux of celebration is a pair of hand-painted colossal heads. Over the next few months, Naperville will be helping host “Olmec Trails: Culture and Legacy,” a countywide art exhibit devised to pay tribute to the indigenous roots of Mexican culture and signify the importance of public art.
Naperville man charged in alleged sexual assault at DuPage County Crisis Center
A Naperville man charged with sexually assaulting a woman at the DuPage County Crisis Center is being held in the county jail, authorities said. Lonny Bracey, 34, is accused of attacking the woman in a bedroom at the 12-bed residential center in Wheaton, according to a news release from the Wheaton Police Department. The incident occurred just before 11:30 p.m. June 19, the release said.

WHEATON, Ill. — A man has been charged after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman who was staying at the DuPage County Crisis Center. Wheaton police was dispatched to the center, located in the 100 block of North County Farm Road, just after 11:25 p.m. on Wednesday. A 34-year-old Naperville man was ordered detained Saturday after his arrest on accusations he sexually assaulted a woman at the DuPage County Crisis Center in Wheaton. Lonny Bracey faces a charge of criminal sexual assault stemming from an investigation launched late Wednesday, when Wheaton police were dispatched to the center, 115 N. County Farm Road, to investigate the alleged assault.
