The Rose Hill Fire Department relocated in August and has started operating out of the new facility.

Fire Chief Gary L. Boney is grateful for the new fire station.

“We’re very excited to be in it,” he said.

“We’ve had a positive response from the community and we appreciate all the support.”

All fire trucks and equipment belonging to the Rose Hill Fire Department have been relocated to the new fire station.

Early this month, the department made the move into the new building located at 109 South Sycamore Street.

According to a release on Facebook, the department states that, “This project would not have been possible without the tremendous support and hard work of everyone involved. We are incredibly grateful for this facility and the dedication of all those who helped make this dream a reality.”

An open house date is coming soon and expected to be available to the public in the near future once the interior setup is complete.

“We do have a little more to do in the kitchen and some more wiring…we’re very close. The trucks are there and we’re responding there now.”
