Pelahatchie High School teachers spent the first morning experiencing flex block concepts before implementing them with our students in the coming school year. Teachers selected creative activities to present to peers, then the teachers were given an opportunity to sign up for three classes to attend, and off to flex block we went. One of the biggest expenses in running a city is keeping the sewer system working. “You never ever get through with the wastewater,” said Kosciusko Mayor Tim Kyle. Kyle says Kosciusko has about 80 miles of sewer lines and has had to repair and replace some of the pumps and then they had to fix an aerator at the sewage lagoon.
