Former Illinois Basketball commit Jeremiah Fears announced on his social media that he is committing to the University of Oklahoma. Fears reopened his recruitment earlier in the month of July after buzz grew that he wanted to reclassify into the class of 2024. That will now be the case as Fears will enter the class of 2024 and suit up for the Oklahoma Sooners during the 2024-2025 season. PEORIA (25News Now) - Peoria Police confirmed a man was killed during an officer-involved shooting on Sherman Avenue Sunday afternoon. Police said the man, 46-year-old Donald Wilson, died after he reportedly swung a digging shovel at officers, prompting one officer to shoot his firearm and two others to fire their tasers.
