    Brown Butter Cinnamon Crinkle Cookies

    Makes about 24 cookies

    Ingredients:

    - 1 cup unsalted butter

    - 2 cups all-purpose flour

    - 1 tsp baking powder

    - 1/2 tsp salt

    - 1 cup granulated sugar

    - 1/2 cup brown sugar

    - 2 eggs

    - 2 tsp vanilla extract

    - 2 tsp ground cinnamon

    - 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

    Instructions:

    1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Cook, swirling occasionally, until the butter turns a deep golden brown color and has a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

    2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.

    3. In a separate bowl, beat the brown butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.

    4. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.

    5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.

    6. Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

    7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    8. Roll the dough into small balls, then roll them in powdered sugar to coat.

    9. Place the coated dough balls on the baking sheet, spacing them apart.

    10. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops are cracked.

    11. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
