CCSD holds school merger presentation in response to Morrisville-Eaton request

David Allen Lower, 86, of Syracuse, formerly of Auburn and Baldwinsville, passed away June 16, 2024, at Francis House in Syracuse. David was born Jan. 16, 1938, to Philip Allen Lower and Mary-Nell Dickerman Lower at Auburn Memorial Hospital in Auburn. David graduated from Seward School and attended Central High School in Auburn.

No. The tree grew here, behind the honeysuckle … for years without as much as a thought. Last fall we had to take boxes of black walnuts to the dump. Last spring I paid my grandsons a handsome sum to divest the garden of hundreds of tiny black walnut saplings. That is what happens when you aren’t paying attention.

Nellie Elizabeth (Cook) Johnson, 94, peacefully passed away the evening of June 15, 2024, at the Eastern Star Home in Oriskany, N.Y. Limestone Plaza bridge to be rehabilitated
VILLAGE OF FAYETTEVILLE – The bridge in Fayetteville’s Limestone Plaza that stretches across the creek below will be the focus of a rehabilitation project. Celeste Mantone D’Amico passed away peacefully on June 12, 2024, due to complications of primary progressive multiple sclerosis. Celeste graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish teaching and master’s degree in library science. She was also a stay-at-home mom when her children were young. She had a long career as a library/media specialist in the Baldwinsville, Skaneateles and Moravia Central School Districts.
