Students learn how to operate a food truck
MATC offered classes on how to operate a food truck over the summer. The Chair of the Culinary Arts Department, Chef Paul Carrier says the department is “in the process of potentially developing a one semester long, seven credit Technical Diploma named ‘Food Truck Operations’ in the next year. After completing the credits, students will receive a digital badge credential called “Food Truck Operations Essentials.”
Traffic stop leads to drug-related charges and possibly decades in prison
RACINE, WI — A 39-year-old Waukegan woman and a 46-year-old Chicago man each face a slew of. drug-related charges after a traffic stop Aug. 2 in Caledonia. Catrina Woods is charged with drug-related charges of possession with intent to deliver between 10 and 50 grams of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver narcotics, possession with intent to deliver/distribute/manufacture THC and possession with intent to deliver cocaine, all with the use of a dangerous weapon.

RACINE, WI — A 31-year-old Racine man remains in custody in the Racine County Jail on a $7,500. cash bond after he was charged for a burglary from a residence in April. The felony charge filed against Elijah Coulter carries a maximum possible prison term of 12 years, six months and a total fine of $25,000.
