AR man facing 892 counts of child pornography

MEMPHIS, Tenn.– An Arkansas man is behind bars facing 892 counts of possessing child pornography.

The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department said Zackery Keith Tucker, 24, was taken into custody in Earle after detectives received a tip from the Arkansas State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.

Tucker is accused of pandering and possessing visual print medium depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

He was booked into the Crittenden County Detention Center and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Marion District Court on the 892 felony charges.

The sheriff’s department said it was their fourth child pornography arrest in the past two months.

“In the last two months we’ve received numerous cyber tips from that particular unit that there were individuals in Crittenden County that downloaded and viewed child pornography,” said Sheriff Mike Allen.

What’s notable about these arrests is all four suspects were caught by female detectives, and Sheriff Allen says they use pink handcuffs to make the arrests.

“Those aren’t your normal every day handcuffs,” he said. “These are just handcuffs that are earmarked for the arrest of these type of individuals.”

Sheriff Allen is urging parents to be more vigilant, saying, parents need to monitor what their children are doing.

“Children are a lot smarter than parents give them credit for, and these predators are a lot smarter than the parents, because they can get to these children and a house where you think parents are monitoring the worldwide web,” Allen said.
