Sophomore jumper Sir Jonathan Sims won the triple jump championship at the final Pac-12 Track and Field Championships less than two months ago. He may win another conference title, but it won’t be for the Arizona Wildcats. Tarleton State announced that Sims had transferred to the Texans on Thursday. Earning a spot as one of the 13 Semi-Finalists at the Miss Texas’ Teen 2024 was Miss Freestone County’s Teen 2022 and Miss Burleson’s Teen, Kenady Morris of Teague. In addition to making it to the Semi-Finals, Kenady earned several scholarships during the week-long event. Those include The Change Maker Scholarship, The What Love Can Do Scholarship, and The Live Like Katie Joe Vaughn Scholarship; each in the amount of $250.
