The 61st annual Senior League Baseball World Series begins with a quartet of games on Saturday, July 27.
Twelve teams — six from the U.S. and six from across the globe — of players aged 13-16 will descend upon Easley, South Carolina for the annual mid-summer tournament.
Last year, the squad from Willemstad, Curaçao took home the title; it marked Willemstad's second championship in the last four tournaments. Cherry Hill, New Jersey finished as the runner-up.
Taiwan enters this year's World Series with a whopping 17 championships. New York and Florida hold the second most titles with five apiece.
