Planning commission to look at proposal to add pickleball courts to Holly Tree Racquet Club
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - The Wilmington Planning Commission at its next meeting is set to discuss a proposal to add pickleball courts to the Holly Tree Racquet Club. The proposal would use two of the existing courts and convert the remaining ones into 10 outdoor pickleball courts, a 28,200 square-feet indoor pickleball facility, a netted golf driving range simulator with 10 tees, and a 1,600 square-foot clubhouse. The expansion will also require removing nearby trees.
