    Forbush sports roundup

    The Forbush baseball team took on Surry Central last Thursday and Friday. The Falcons topped the Golden Eagles in both games with a score of 13-0 Thursday and 1-0 on Friday.

    In Thursday’s match-up in Dobson the Falcons had two runs in the first inning, one in the third, two in the fifth and a whopping eight runs in the sixth inning.

    Forbush Seniors Braylen Beane, Holden Moxley and Kanan Davis had one run each. Seniors Logan Boles and Gavin Maines each scored two runs. Junior Matthew Glenn had one run in the game as did sophomores Bo Moxley and G. Casertano. Junior Colton Moxley scored three runs against the Golden Eagles.

    Friday the Golden Eagles travelled to East Bend for another game against the Falcons. Bo Moxely scored the single run in the game in the ninth inning, claiming the win for the Falcons.

    Forbush also claimed a non-conference win against the North Iredell Raiders last Monday with a score of 6-0.

    The Falcons are set to play several games later this week in Myrtle Beach as part of the Ripken Experience Game.

    The Forbush girls softball team won its game against Wilkes Central last Thursday with a final score of 15-0.

    The Lady Falcons claimed a 11-1 victory over North Surry last Friday.

    The Forbush girls soccer team won its Tuesday game last week against North Surry 5-1. The Lady Falcons claimed another victory Thursday against East Surry, final score 1-0.
