Forbush closed out its season on Wednesday in the third round of the NCHSAA state 2A playoffs with a 2-0 loss to North Stanly. The Falcons ended the season 25-3.

Thomas Conrad had 21 outs during the game.

Conrad, Colton Moxley, Bo Moxley, Riley Campbell, and Dylan McClamrock each had one hit during the game.

Forbush was ranked 4th and lost to the 5th ranked team.

“We gave up two runs in the 3rd inning with two outs on back to back doubles. The pitcher we faced was a Wingate University commit. Thomas pitched outstanding for us and we had chances to score in several innings but just couldn’t get a hit with runners in scoring position,” said Forbush Baseball Coach Jack Moss.
