We love our waterfront dining places in Upstate New York. When the warm weather comes, we head out do dine by the blue waters of our favorite lakes, rivers, and streams. Transforming Tradition: Inside the No Time to be Tame Art Exhibit in Clifton Springs
The “No Time to be Tame” art exhibit at Main Street Arts in Clifton Springs offers a bold exploration of artistic boundaries, featuring the works of Pat Pauly, Joanna Poag, and Werner Sun. Running through September 4th, this invitational exhibition showcases how these artists, using fiber, clay, and paper, defy conventional limits in their chosen mediums. Visitors will see quilts transformed into paintings, prints becoming dimensional sculptures, and ceramic pieces that mimic the patterns of textiles. Main Street Arts touts, “The connective thread that holds this group of artists together is a use of pattern and repetition of form as well as the idea of not staying within a predetermined set of rules.”
