According to AL.com, a Sunliner Diner restaurant is expected to be built in Orange Beach. The owners are seeking site plan review approval to build the restaurant at 26035 Perdido Beach Boulevard, according to city planning. The 50s-style restaurant also has a location on Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Industrial Investments paid $850,000 for a commercial property at 23226 Grissom Drive in Robertsdale, according to James Henderson of Realty Executives Bay Group, who handled the transaction. The purchase includes more than 15,000 ft2 of warehouse space, loading and unloading docks, office area and storage on 2 acres. The space was previously occupied by Dependable Machine Services. The property will be used in the future for the industrial maintenance company. A local investor paid $799,000 for 12,030 ft2 made up of multiple buildings at 10160 Airport Boulevard in Mobile, according to Chris Harle and Leigh Dale Younce of White-Spunner Realty, who represented the sellers. Angie McArthur of Stirling Properties worked for the buyer. The property will continue to be leased to existing tenants. Watch for these future projects in Baldwin County: Lillian Medical, a 4,967-ft2 medical clinic, to be developed on 3.28 acres on Barclay Avenue just north of Highway 98 in Lillian, according to Baldwin County planners, and Toy Box South Storage, which will feature two 14,000-ft2 buildings to store boats and RVs on Roscoe Road south of the Foley Beach Express in Gulf Shores.
