Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center improvements start July 22. The Naperville Park District is starting work to upgrade the heating and cooling system at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, 305 Jackson Ave., on Monday, July 22. Work is expected to run through Friday, Aug. 23, according to a press release from the park district.

Berwyn Man Charged with First-Degree Murder of 3-Year-Old in Chicago Shooting
Following a nearly two-year investigation, Chicago Police have charged Govanni Hernandez, a 32-year-old man from the 6300 block of W. 26th St., Berwyn, Illinois, with the murder of a 3-year-old boy. According to a press release from the Chicago Police Department, Hernandez faces a series of felony charges including first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.
