The Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine earned the No. 1 ranking in the nation from U.S. News & World Report for the medical school with the most graduates practicing in areas experiencing a health professional shortage. The ranking reflects the college’s strong history of training doctors of osteopathic medicine, or D.O.s, physician-scientists, or D.O.-Ph.D.s, and physician assistants, or PAs, as well as supporting people and communities in need.

MSU CB Charles Brantley laughs at where MSU landed in preseason Big Ten poll
Where the Spartans landed in the Big Ten preseason media poll is comical to Michigan State cornerback Charles Brantley. The Spartans were picked to finish 16th out of 18 teams in the Big Ten football preseason poll released by Cleveland.com on Monday. That low of a placement was surprising to me, and it apparently was funny to Brantley, who took to X to post about it. Michigan State basketball champion Ron Charles passes away at age 65
Michigan State basketball lost a legend this week, as Ron ‘BoBo’ Charles passed away at the age of 65. Charles was a beloved member of the 1979 National Championship team as their sixth man. Charles was selected in the fourth round of the 1980 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls.
NW Head Coach David Braun praises former MSU coach Harlon Barnett
Former Michigan State coach Harlon Barnett is already making a positive impact for a fellow Big Ten squad. Barnett — who has been a long-time coach at Michigan State and served as the Spartans interim head coach last year for 10 games — has joined the Northwestern staff this year. He will serve as an assistant head coach and safeties coach for the Wildcats.
