Rotary Club Concert Series kicks off in East Longmeadow

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Fourth of July festivities kicked off Wednesday evening in East Longmeadow.

A crowd of music lovers dressed in red, white, and blue filled the field outside of the East Longmeadow High School.

The Rotary Club continued their concert series Wednesday night, featuring the local band Trailer Trash, and fireworks to celebrate Independence Day.

“The Rotary is all about service–so we try to run community events, like the concert, the carnival, and the fireworks,” says Chairman of the Rotary Club Kevin Cook. “We are really giving back to the community and putting on as many events as we can throughout the year.”

Our very own Jack Wu with the 22News Storm Team was there to emcee the event. Next week, ‘Project 267’ will take the stage.
