Police: Garden tool, meat cleaver used in stabbing on Lower East Side
A garden tool with prongs, a meat cleaver, and a box cutter were all used in a fight on the Lower East Side.Police say two men used the weapons on each other when they got into a dispute on Saturday around 6 p.m. near Madison and Catherine Streets.One of the men was stabbed in the eye. New Musical “Lifeline,” About the Discovery of Penicillin, Plays at The Signature Center Starting on Wednesday, August 28
A new musical, Lifeline, the story of Scottish scientist Alexander Fleming’s world-changing discovery of penicillin in 1928, will play at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Center, with previews starting August 28 and opening night on September 4.
