A company that offers maritime and engineering services is laying off 80 people. Truestone has filed a WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act) notice with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry informing the state of the layoffs. The positions are based at Tobyhanna Army Depot, 11 Hap Arnold Blvd. in Coolbaugh Township, Monroe County.

New Britain Township Truck Inspection Takes Three Vehicles Off the Road
NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA—A crew of commercial vehicle inspectors in New Britain Township last week pulled over 21 vehicles and removed three from the roads. On July 10, the Central Bucks Motor Carrier Inspection Team inspected vehicles on Business Route 202, County Line Road and Upper State Road. Of the 21 commercial vehicles they inspected, only five had no violations.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER Among the other 16, officials found a total of 38 violations. Of the three vehicles removed from the road, two had bad brakes. Another six were too big or too heavy for the road. The crew issued a total of 12 traffic citations and 26 traffic warnings. Fox News host Laura Ingraham said she was overcome with grief upon learning that former President Donald Trump had been shot.
