    GoFundMe Campaigns Supporting Victims of 2 Crashes

    GoFundMe campaigns have been set up for people seriously injured in two recent separate car accidents.

    Tempestt Harris Buckner was hurt on June 23 when her car struck a utility pole on Bread and Cheese Hollow Road. She was pulled from her burning car by passing Good Samaritans. The drive aims to raise $20,000 to assist with her medical bills. As of Sunday night, $18,120 had been donated by 194 people.

    July 14 Crash

    Bryan and Chelsea Zamzam , parents of three young children, were severely injured when their vehicle was hit head-on by a car traveling in the wrong direction in West Islip on July 14. The East Northport residents were taken to different hospitals for treatment and face a lengthy recovery. The GoFundMe campaign seeks to raise $175,000. As of Sunday night, $156,624 had been contributed by more than 1,600 donors.
