James D. Lasch (1946-2024)
James D. “Jim” Lasch, a devoted father, grandfather, and respected member of the Lebanon community, passed away on July 22, 2024. Born in Lebanon, PA, on Oct. 24, 1946, to the late James R. Lasch and Arlene A. Lasch nee Washburn, Mr. Lasch led a fulfilling life before his passing at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon at the age of 77. A dedicated mail carrier by profession and a proud Air Force veteran, Mr. Lasch’s unwavering commitment to his duties and love for his country were commendable traits that defined his character. Throughout his life, Jim took great joy in simple pleasures, such as supporting his beloved Philadelphia Phillies, spending time fishing, and indulging in scratch-off tickets. His love for animals and penchant for outdoor activities reflected his kind-hearted nature and love for the world around him.
