An autopsy conducted Monday afternoon shows Grazier died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash. This case remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police, East Peoria Police Department and the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office.

Kyle Freeman, Washington Community High School District #309 superintendent, announced that the district has activated its crisis counseling team in the wake of the Washington High School student's death.

"This loss will affect everyone in our school family and in the Washington Community," Freeman said. "Students may have a difficult time dealing with the loss and may react in different ways including sadness, anger, and disbelief.
