Paterson man charged in connection with Straight Street shootout
A Paterson man was charged in connection with a shootout that occurred in the area of Straight Street and Park Avenue, according to authorities. Uvaldo Mora, 28, of Paterson, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and certain persons not to possess a weapon, both second-degree offenses. The charges stem from an incident on Oct. 5 at around 11:15 p.m. when police received reports of gunfire in the area.
