St. Louis County municipality plans to upgrade its golf course
UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. — The city of University City plans to make improvements to its municipal golf course. The plan to add enhancements at the city-owned Ruth Park Golf Course came together over the last month after an offer of free dirt from a contractor currently working in the city, said the city’s communications director, Jared Jones. Kolb Grading is leveling a site at the $211 million Market at Olive shopping center redevelopment at Olive Boulevard and Interstate 170 and will take thousands of truckloads of dirt to the golf course over the next month, the city said in a news release.
