Upshur County Man Gets 99 Years

A Gladewater man has been sentenced in Upshur County to 99 years in prison for multiple drug and weapons charges. Prosecutors say 51-year-old Jimmy Wayne Skinner was on parole when he was arrested at a drug raid on a shop building in February. Skinner was found with methamphetamine, marijuana, cutting agents, loaded syringes and multiple firearms including a loaded 20 gauge sawed off shotgun.
