Tristin English jumped on three-run home run in the first inning against El Paso starter Randy Vasquez. Eguy Rosario got one of the runs back on an RBI double in the bottom half. A second-inning home run from Cal Mitchell made it a 3-2 deficit.
After a pair of scoreless innings, Vasquez imploded in the fourth inning. The Aces scored six runs in the frame (three off of Vasquez), including a pair of home runs to Jorge Barrosa and Pavin Smith. Alek Thomas homered the next inning to make it 11-3 Reno.
Brandon Lockridge had a pair of extra-base hits, including a two-run home run in the eighth inning; unfortunately, the comeback attempt was too late.
San Antonio Missions (Won 8-0 vs Amarillo) (50-59 on the season)

The Missions (or Flying Chanclas) scored a pair of runs in four different innings Thursday night. Romeo Sanabria was the primary run producer, driving in five on a trio of base knocks. The slugger is hitting .414 with a 1.003 OPS since being promoted to Double-A.
Despite scoring eight, the real story was the Missions pitching staff. Ryan Bergert was immaculate, tossing six perfect frames while punching out nine.

He was replaced by flamethrower Bradgley Rodriguez who allowed a walk with two outs in the top of the seventh inning, the first Sod Poodle to reach base. Ivan Melendez reached base on a throwing error in the next inning, but Rodriguez struck out the next two before being pulled. Lefty Ryan Och got the final four outs as San Antonio celebrated its first no-hitter since getting two in a week in 2022.
The Missions join the @Padres & @TinCaps with the 3rd no-hitter in the organization this season.
The bad? Fort Wayne allowed 14 runs and 18 hits as a team. Dayton's Cam Collier and Leo Balcazar combined for seven runs driven in during the 14-3 rout. The Dragons scored at least once in every inning except for the second.
Lake Elsinore Storm (Won 5-4 vs Inland Empire, ten innings) (58-51 on the season)
Starting pitcher Maikel Miralles put together one of his best showings in his career, allowing just one run in the second across five frames. Lake Elsinore tied the game in the fifth on an RBI double from 2024 seventh rounder Kai Roberts.
After surrendering a run in the seventh inning, the Storm tied the game with two outs in the ninth, courtesy of 66ers error. Inland Empire score a pair in the top of the tenth inning. It wasn't enough; however, Braedon Karpathios delivered the final blow with a three-run walk-off homer.
