FLORENCE — A woman who says she fell into an open manhole in a Wawa parking lot has filed a lawsuit against the company. Courtney Barlow, 20, of Ewing, said she suffered permanent injury after the fall in the Route 130 store parking on Oct. 22, 2023, according to the lawsuit, which NJ.com first reported this week.

Judge throws out disciplinary charges against Spotswood's police chief, acting captain
SPOTSWOOD - A Superior Court judge has dismissed the disciplinary charges filed by the borough against Police Chief Philip Corbisiero and acting Captain Nicholas Mayo, saying that the municipality did not comply with the state's Internal Affairs Policies and Procedures. Old Bridge Couple Sentenced for Unlicensed Medical Practice and Assault
OLD BRIDGE, NJ - An Old Bridge couple were sentenced in Middlesex County in connection with the unlicensed practice of medicine and two sexual assaults that occurred in July 2022. An adult female victim went to receive medical treatment at the residence of Orger Sibaja-Bolanos, 67, of Old Bridge, who posed as a doctor. Sibaja-Bolanos sexually assaulted her and gave her injections. The subsequent investigation revealed that Sibaja-Bolanos’s wife, Rosa Perez, 64, of Old Bridge, assisted with the unlicensed medical practice.
