Man tried to take state trooper's patrol vehicle at crash scene in Birmingham
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — An Alabama State Trooper and another person are recovering, following an incident at a vehicle crash scene in Birmingham Tuesday. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported a trooper stopped to check on the crash near the 1700 block of Tallapoosa Street just before 6:30 p.m. July 2.

Kodie Bogle and Kathryn Webb were point-earning machines for their respective teams this past track and field season. Bogle, a junior at Gaston, and Webb, a senior at Southside, each competed in four events, with both student-athlete winning the first-place gold every one of those events.
