Camden, NJ, man gets 65 years in prison for brutal murder in 2019
A Camden man will likely never see the outside of a prison ever again after being sentenced for a brutal killing in 2019. On April 17th, 45-year-old Corey James Malloy was convicted of first-degree murder in connection to the death of Nathaniel Perry on September 26th, 2019. The verdict was returned after a jury trial in Camden County Superior Court.

Man, woman shot on the street in Kensington, police say
Two people are in the hospital after a shooting that took place in Kensington Monday afternoon. At around 3:59 p.m., police responded to reports of a person with a gun. A fired Philadelphia police officer who pleaded guilty to murder in the shooting of a fleeing 12-year-old boy was sentenced Monday to at least eight years in prison. Edsaul Mendoza, a five-year veteran of the force who was fired a week after the shooting in 2022, pleaded guilty to third-degree murder in April in the shooting of Thomas “T.J.” Siderio.
