Child suffers serious injuries after head-on crash in Berlin Twp., 3 others hospitalized
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash in Berlin Township Saturday evening. The crash happened on Route 224 just east of Bedell Road around 2:30 p.m. According to the release, a 17-year-old female was driving east on Route 224 in a Chrysler van when she tried to pass a vehicle ahead of her. While trying to pass, she struck a motorhome and then an SUV head-on.

Bachmayer discusses policing in the Northeast

Sisters of St. Basil the Great host youth camp
The Sisters of St. Basil the Great recently held a youth summer camp on the theme “My Journey with Jesus and Friends.”. The camp was attended by 40 children from different parishes and refugee children from Ukraine. At the camp, the children attended the Divine Liturgy, had daily catechism classes, sang and danced, participated in various games, quests and quizzes, baked cookies and made handicrafts. They wrote letters and painted pictures for the soldiers in Ukraine that the Sisters from Ukraine were taking back with them.
Wells Fargo Closing Trevose Location in Bensalem
Wells Fargo Bank is reportedly closing a branch in Bensalem before the year’s end. The branch, located at 3625 Horizon Boulevard, according to signage said the branch will close operations on September 20. A social media group focused on the township exchanged comments on the topic and Councilwoman Michele Benitez confirmed for commenters the closing date.

Woman dead, 1 injured after crash involving Philadelphia Fire Department ladder truck
A woman is dead following a crash involving a Philadelphia Fire Department ladder truck in North Philadelphia on Saturday.It happened at the intersection of West Lehigh and West Sedgley avenues just after noon.Investigators say a vehicle cut the ladder truck off, which resulted in the crash.That vehicle then also reportedly struck an unoccupied, parked car.A 23-year-old passenger inside the car died at the hospital after the crash.The driver of the car was taken to the hospital in critical condition.There is no word yet on the victim's identity or whether charges will be filed in this case.
