Car-Semi Accident Injures Platteville Woman
A Platteville woman was injured in a car-semi truck accident. The Grant County Sheriff says the accident happened Thursday afternoon shortly after noon on Highway 151 at the intersection with Hill Climb Road near Dickeyville. Authorities say a vehicle driven by 77-year old Elaine Shanley was stopped at the intersection and then pulled out to cross the southbound lanes and was hit by the oncoming semi driven by 59-year old Henry Chamberlain of Fort Atkinson.
One dead in Beloit rollover crash
BELOIT, Wis. (WMTV) - One person is dead after a vehicle rollover crash early Friday morning in Beloit, the city’s police department reported. The Beloit Police Department stated in a Facebook post that the single-vehicle crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on the 1200 block of Risher Street. Police explained the vehicle rolled over and crashed into a tree.

Semi Hits Car Grant County Wisconsin
A semi versus car crash was reported on Highway 151 in Paris Township at approximately 12:10pm on Saturday, July 25th. Elaine Shanley, 77, of Platteville, was operating her 2006 Buick Lacrosse eastbound on Hill Climb Road when the accident occurred.
