Presque Isle City Council tables flag ordinance, moves to discuss at future date
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - The Presque Isle City Council has tabled the ordinance about flying flags until they can workshop the ordinance at a later date. At a council meeting Wednesday night, there was a public hearing held to discuss the Proclamation, Key to the City, Flag Display, and Ceremonial Guidelines Ordinance. The ordinance draft would allow people and groups to apply for a flag to be flown at the city’s flagpole at Riverside Park, pending approval of the city manager.
