Budget Information Session In Loveland Thursday
Stakeholders in Loveland are invited to an information session Thursday focused on where and how far tax dollars go in the city. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, officials are hosting a budget education event to discuss how property and sale tax revenues are used to fund a wide range of city services. The budget event will be held in City Council chambers on Thursday or online through Zoom, starting at 5:30 p.m. Waldes and Elder will be available for questions both during and after the presentation. A brick labyrinth now adorns the lawn at Loveland’s All Saints Episcopal Church, months ahead of schedule, thanks to a second anonymous donation. In the Christian faith, a labyrinth consists of a single, winding path leading to a central point. The Loveland Reporter Herald reports All Saints announced the labyrinth mission last year, seeded by a $30,000 anonymous donation, with a goal to raise another $45,000 to finish the project next year. But just a few weeks later, another anonymous donor stepped forward to cover the balance, and the project was put on the fast track.
