Budget Information Session In Loveland Thursday
Stakeholders in Loveland are invited to an information session Thursday focused on where and how far tax dollars go in the city. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, officials are hosting a budget education event to discuss how property and sale tax revenues are used to fund a wide range of city services. The budget event will be held in City Council chambers on Thursday or online through Zoom, starting at 5:30 p.m. Waldes and Elder will be available for questions both during and after the presentation. Loveland Labyrinth Built With Generosity
A brick labyrinth now adorns the lawn at Loveland’s All Saints Episcopal Church, months ahead of schedule, thanks to a second anonymous donation. In the Christian faith, a labyrinth consists of a single, winding path leading to a central point. The Loveland Reporter Herald reports All Saints announced the labyrinth mission last year, seeded by a $30,000 anonymous donation, with a goal to raise another $45,000 to finish the project next year. But just a few weeks later, another anonymous donor stepped forward to cover the balance, and the project was put on the fast track.
Local Restaurant Group Opening Two New Concepts Inside Cherry Creek's Clayton Hotel
One of the eight hotels in Colorado that recently earned a Michelin Key is swapping out its food and drink concepts once again. The 63-room Clayton Hotel & Members Club opened at 233 Clayton Street in Cherry Creek in May 2021. When it debuted, it included wood-fired restaurant Of a Kind and Oak Market. In early 2022, it introduced Five Nines, a sleek cocktail bar.
Free paint recycling event to be held in Denver
The City and County of Denver said it has partnered with GreenSheen Paint to host the free recycling event on July 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1271 W. Bayaud Ave. The public can drop off unwanted paint in its original containers (five gallons or less) while remaining in their vehicles.
