A gorgeous weekend of weather is in store for Northern Michigan as high pressure takes control. Warm temperatures and mostly sunny skies will be the theme for most areas. Right off the bat, while most locations will see little to no cloud cover, smoke from Canadian wildfires will cause the sky to have a milky appearance. Where the smoke is thicker, as depicted by the orange colors, the sky will appear to be overcast.

Border to Border Trail Construction Updates
M-52 Toward Stockbridge: In 2023, construction began on a new trail segment along the east side of M-52 in Lyndon Township. This 1.6-mile addition starts at North Territorial and M-52, going to Boyce Road. The project involves the grading and paving of the path, along with planting 106 native trees and landscape restoration. Additionally, it includes repairing the existing trail near the DTE connection.

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - There have been many very successful gymnasts to come out of Mid-Michigan over the years. Delhi Township native Lilia Cosman is no exception. Cosman will be the first Lansing-area native to compete in the Olympic games since gymnast Jordyn Wieber in 2012. The 16-year-old was introduced to gymnastics by her older sister ten years ago.
