EBENSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — Dozens gathered Thursday at the Penn Eben Park in Ebensburg to listen to a patriotic performance by the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet.

The repertoire included many well known classics such as “God Bless America” and “You’re a Grand Old Flag” as well as the Armed Forces Medley to honor those in attendance who have served in the United States Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Marines and Air Force.

“So we plan these events almost a year in advance to make sure that we have the right musicians, the repertoire and that we’re able to promote it within the community to get as many people here as we possibly can,” Erin Codey, Executive Director for the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra said.
