EBONY Introduces EBONY Eats 45

EBONY Eats 45 is a curated list from staff and editors at Team EBONY of our favorite Black-owned restaurants from across the country. It pays homage to our founding in 1945 and expands on how we’ve always put a spotlight on the Black dining experience. Our list highlights several establishments ranging from mom-and-pop shops to James Beard award-winning chefs and restaurants with cuisine selections that goes from 100% plant-based to stick-to-your ribs barbecue. We invite you to refer to this list when you plan your travels and have family and friends visiting from out of town, or when you’re in the mood to try something new! Our list includes a price distinction from non-expensive ($) to expensive ($$$) as well as some interesting notes and distinctions for each establishment.
