Box office hits: N.C. A&T Football and Hoops to be featured on network broadcasts
The N.C. A&T State University Aggies have been climbing the ranks of national recognition and notoriety. Well the Aggies have leveled up, recently they haven't enjoyed some of the successes of their past. However, that hasn't stopped the interest in the Aggies from skyrocketing. Even more households will be introduced to the Aggies this year and the hope is that the additional exposure will help many of the things the Aggies need - including recruiting.
Catawba Seniors Morning Out For August
HICKORY, N.C. –Participants will enjoy a variety of activities in August including a trip to the farmers market, crafting classes, and cooking demonstrations. Any resident of Catawba County who is 60 or older is invited to join Seniors Morning Out, which is held Monday through Thursday mornings at five convenient locations. A hot, balanced lunch is served each day. Programs are free to participants, who may pick and choose which days to attend. Bus transportation to and from the sites is available in some locations.
Residents, business owners invited to welcome Cycle NC participants to Statesville
More than 900 cyclists are expected to stop over in Statesville on October 7 during the Cycle NC Mountains to Coast ride. The Statesville Convention & Visitors Bureau, the City of Statesville, Downtown Statesville Development Corporation and Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce invite the community to help welcome the cyclists.
