Albany, NY – Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in New York today, particularly ahead of a warm front. The National Weather Service in Albany has indicated that a few thunderstorms may become severe, with damaging winds anticipated north of the Capital Region and Mohawk Valley. High humidity levels will accompany above-normal temperatures, ranging from the 80s to the lower 90s, with cooler readings over the mountains.
