Multiple Suspects in Custody After ATM Robbery and Police Chase in Brooklyn Park
Chaos unfolded during the evening of July 19 when multiple suspects allegedly committed a robbery in the 8400 block of Zane Ave N. As reported by an online alert, the individuals targeted a person who was in the midst of replenishing an ATM with cash around 8:40 pm. In a desperate bid to escape, the suspects took off in a vehicle, which soon caught the attention of law enforcement officers.

Arson suspected in Lake Street garbage fires, fire department says
MINNEAPOLIS — Authorities suspect several garbage fires on Minneapolis' West Lake Street Monday morning were intentionally set.One such fire spread to a building on the 900 block of West Lake Street just before 3:30 a.m., according to the Minneapolis Fire Department. Crews responded, searched the building and put out the fire. No one was injured, but a residence inside the building was deemed uninhabitable. The building also contained a business, which is now boarded up.While fighting that fire, the department learned of additional garbage fires on West Lake Street. An employee of a nearby business told police he saw someone setting the fires. Minneapolis police responded and detained a man, the fire department said.

Minneapolis residents can expect a flurry of activity from CenterPoint Energy as they embark on a significant project to replace aging natural gas lines across several neighborhoods. Pop-up storms possible Monday, Tuesday before better weather returns
MINNEAPOLIS — Things will stay unsettled for the next couple of days before more favorable weather returns.Expect pop-up storms on Monday in the afternoon and evening hours, with spells of sunshine and clouds as well. Highs will be in the lower 80s.Tuesday will also bring a chance of storms, mostly in the morning hours. Then, things start to dry out and some sunshine makes its way in. Highs will be similar to Monday's.As we head into midweek, high pressure starts to move in, allowing for smoother weather, temperatures in the lower 80s and sunshine.We'll get slightly warmer by the end of the week, with highs returning to the upper 80s by the weekend. Saturday night has a chance of rain.
