Uintah 100 Year Celebration To Take Place During Homecoming Next Month
Uintah High School is officially 100 years old and the community is invited to join in celebrating during Homecoming next month. The District announcement states that all Uintah alumni and the community are invited to join in the party at the Homecoming parade and Homecoming game on Friday, September 20th. The Student Council plans to honor the oldest living Uintah High graduate so all candidates for this recognition are requested and can be emailed to blaire.martindale@uintah.net. Uintah band alumni are also invited to dust off their instruments and join in playing during the Homecoming parade. A short practice will take place at noon on that day and all band alumni are invited! Also as part of their announcement, the District shared that a misunderstanding led to the failure to celebrate the class of 2024 as Uintah High’s Centennial Class and that Uintah High alumni had helped set the record straight, leading to the plans for the Homecoming celebration.
