A Minnesota man sent his mother a heartbreaking last message before he was gunned down and killed in the parking lot of the church he called "home." Austin Strom, 25, was shot and killed during an altercation that occurred at 7:48 am on Saturday involving three people outside the doors of the Prairie Heights Community Church. ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Josh Jung’s infield single and a throwing error gave the Texas Rangers a 6-5 win over the Minnesota Twins in 10 innings on Sunday afternoon after the defending World Series champions trailed 4-0 going into the seventh. Jose Miranda fielded Jung’s one-out chopper off Jhoan Duran (6-6) and his throw to first base pulled Carlos Santana off the bag. Santana tried to tag out Jung but the ball came loose and rolled toward right field, allowing automatic runner Adolis García to score. “Pound it in the ground and run like hell,” Jung said. “Kind of felt like a football play toward the end.” Jung also hit a solo homer in the seventh to cap a five-run inning for the defending World Series champions, who avoided a four-game sweep and won for the second time in eight games.
