Farmland values in Wyoming have made modest gains over the past six months according to the latest Benchmark Farm Value Trends Report issued by Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) and Frontier Farm Credit. CASPER, Wyo. — Tuesday afternoon, the National Weather Service in Riverton issued a fire weather watch for Natrona County. The NWS in Riverton reported in a release that the combination of high temperatures, low humidity, strong winds and possible lightning all combine to create conditions ripe for starting wildfires. Afternoon winds are predicted to gust at speeds of up to 30 mph. Meanwhile, temperatures are expected to remain firmly in the 90s for the duration of the watch.
