Wyoming Legion Baseball B State Tournament Scoreboard: July 25-29, 2024
Torrington hosts the 2024 Wyoming American Legion Baseball Class ‘B’ State Championship Tournament from July 25-29. These teams are either the second or third tier in programs around the state. The players are 17 years old and younger. Eight teams are part of a double-elimination bracket. All games are seven innings in length. The tournament games are at Bullock Field located at the Torrington Sports Complex.

UW Planetarium Renovations Scheduled Aug. 5-14
The University of Wyoming Harry C. Vaughan Planetarium will undergo renovations and technical upgrades early next month. The planetarium will be closed Aug. 5-14 so that the facility’s two bulb-based projectors can be replaced with new laser projectors. In fall 2023, the planetarium began the procurement process to replace its projectors with a brand-new system. The successful search was completed in May.
Casper man dies in Saturday wreck; GoFundMe started for family
CASPER, Wyo. — Casper resident Cole Allen Paulsen died Saturday in a car-on-motorcycle crash, and a fundraiser has been established to help his family. According to family members, the wreck occurred at roughly 5:15 p.m. near the intersection of CY Avenue and South Spruce Street. While at the reservoir with a group of young men over the weekend, Jared Clinger of Freedom decided to show them how it was done.
