    Crimewatch: Edenton woman charged with ID theft, other charges

    Edenton Police

    Ruth Staton All, 58, of the 1200 Block of Byrd St., Elizabeth City, was arrested May 1 and charged with misdemeanor trespassing in the 300 Block of Virginia Road.

    Rebecca Michelle Smith, 32, of the 300 block of Mexico Road, Edenton, was arrested and charged with felony identity theft, possession of a certain fraudulent form of ID, and violation of license card provision. A $4,000 secured bond was set.

    Newel Deshuar Fleming, 28, of the 700 block of Johnston St., Edenton, was arrested April 24 and harged with assault inflicting serious injury and possession of firearms by a felon. No bond was set.

    Dwayne Thomas Parker, 45, of the 100 block of Carteret St., Edenton, was arrested April 30 and charged with unauthorized use of a conveyance. A $1,000 secured bond was set.

    Elijah Antoine Coston, 20, of the 100 block of Coston Lane, Edenton, was arrested April 24 and charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, felony riot, and felony carrying a concealed gun. A $16,000 secured bond was set.

    Alieke Leshawn White, 20, of the 200 block of E. Albemarle St., Edenton, was arrested April 24 and charged with rioting. No bond was set.

    Christopher James Welch, 19, of the 100 block of Colony Drive, Edenton, was arrested April 24 and charged with felony accessory after the fact and rioting. A secured $2,000 bond was set.

    Damarius Lavaughn Britt, 23, of the 200 block of E. Broad St., Edenton, was arrested April 25 and charged with driving without an operator’s license and having an expired registration/tag. A secured bond of $2,000 was set.

    Jonathan Robin Welch, 37, of the 800 block of N. Broad St., Edenton, was arrested April 23 and charged with resisting an officer, communicating threats, and assault on a government official. No bond was set.

    Al Lavern Peele, 66, of the 200 block of Harrell Church Road, Gatesville, was arrested April 25 and charged with assault on a female. No bond was set

    Chowan Sheriff

    Gwendolyn Pinkston Morris, 64, of the 14000 Doloice Crescent, Newport News, Virginia, was arrested and charged with second-degree trespass. A secured $3,000 bond was set.

    Derrick Derbyshire Smith, of the 1600 block of Yuman Trail, Edenton was arrested May 4 and charged with driving while impaired and resisting a public officer. A $1,500 secured bond was set.
