Edenton Police

Larceny of a firearm was reported July 3 in the 200 block of Tyler Lane. A handgun valued at $518 was reported stolen.

Misdemeanor larceny was reported in the 300 block of Virginia Road, Edenton. Lighter fluid and alcohol valued at less than $10 were reported stolen.

Identity theft, financial transaction card forgery, and obtaining property by false presence were reported July 4 at the La Mesa Restaurant at 701 N. Broad St., Edenton.

Assault on a female was reported June 29 at a residence in the 700 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Drive.

Possession with intent to distribute cocaine, driving while a license revoked, and failure to heed blue lights and a siren were reported July 6 on U.S. Highway 17 in Edenton.

Second-degree forcible sexual offense was reported at a residence on the 400 block of Dillards Mill Road in Tyner.
