    One major issue is access. The City did itself a terrible injustice by reducing Atlantic Blvd from 3 lanes to two lanes. The Commissioners at the time were more concerned about how pretty Atlantic and Dixie would look saying it’s the gateway and yet it’s been under construction for 2 years with no end in sight. In the meantime, road signs say take alternate routes. Well, people listened and just don’t come and it’s impacted every business along Atlantic East of I-95. It was a bad plan, a bad decision and is costing tax payers $25 million dollars for the “road improvements”. Couple the reduced access and a couple of thousand new housing units you have an urban planning disaster.

    pompano beach rent 23% higher than the general median for the country and it is a sh*thole they are creating there own problems out of greed lower the rent for business and residents and you might have a chance to turn the city around!
