River Bend Food Bank at Princeton Fairgrounds this Saturday
River Bend Food Bank will again visit Starved Rock Country for a food distribution. The Davenport, Iowa group is coming to the Bureau County Fairgrounds this Saturday, July 27. If you are low on food – no matter where you are - you're invited to come and register at 9:15. Indoor distribution will start at 10 and will likely take two hours.

During the evening hours of July 15, a well-organized and long-lived complex of thunderstorms rolled across Iowa, Illinois and parts of Indiana. Widespread damaging winds of 60 to locally 100 mph were observed within the line, especially from eastern Iowa, northern Illinois, and central Illinois. In addition, at least 27 occurred in the NWS Chicago County Warning Area.

OPPD Workers Return From Helping Utilities In Iowa/Illinois
